Should I open a deposit?
There is a sum of money that I am going to put on deposit, but I don’t know whether to open it at all. You can just buy government bonds with the same money and get more profit from them. What do you think, is it worth opening a deposit and in which Ukrainian banks are deposit rates the highest?

Deposit rates, though small now, but this is at least some profit. In my opinion, it is better to get a couple of thousand by opening a deposit than to get nothing at all. Money should work for you and this is important.
If you open a deposit, in several places where you are sure that you can take the money. For example, I made accounts in several financial organizations. One of them where you can invest money at 13% per annum. I get passive income - my money brings useful.

Buying bonds is much more problematic than opening a deposit, but the profit is of course more. The interest on bonds is higher than the rates on deposits in banks, and you don’t even have to pay income tax on bonds.

Bonds are certainly more profitable, but everything is much simpler with a deposit. Moreover, some banks offer other lucrative offers to customers who have a deposit, for example, raising the credit limit on a card.
